On February 4th, 2014 Techsters held their last meeting of the 2014-2015 school year. During this meeting we wrapped up the season, took some fun pictures (check them out on our ig page) and learned some new Python skills to move forward with, after the season finished.
We wrapped up the season by looking over the blog and filling out a short reflection. We told the Techsters members that the blog will be updated every couple weeks with resources that they can use to advance their programming/technology skills. These new resources will be located in the “New Resources” tab. Then, the older resources will be moved to the “Projects to Try” tab, where many tips, tricks and things to try are located!!
Additionally, we had the members fill out a reflection. If you are a member and haven’t filled it out yet, you may fill it out.
On another note, Greg also introduced us to strings, the length variable and for loops. To check out what we did look at this link. Greg suggests that we keep learning with Learn Python the hard way (http://learnpythonthehardway.org/book/) and attempt to tinker around with what we learn! Python is a language with endless potential!
Have fun learning and making!
We hope you enjoyed the season!
